[2010.12.07] CheckVir Virus Testing Laboratory of Veszprog Ltd. announces its realtime antivirus testing. This service is based on an automatic system which is able to check almost all released versions of antivirus solutions.
Actually the methodology of this testing is available and the simulation of continual working realtime system is demonstrated.
The main purpose of CheckVir realtime antivirus testing is to provide correct and exact information for computer users about the performance of antivirus products and to help antivirus developers in their work against malware. According to the test results it is possible to provide the following information:
- Comparative test results of antivirus solutions are available automatically for the IT user community on the web. These are ready some minutes after the new version of the particular solution is released. So the results are actual.
- Naming cross-reference database on the tested samples is available for the IT user community among different antivirus solutions and among different versions of the same antivirus solution. This database includes wildlist names and CME numbers as well.
- Summary reports will be published on the CheckVir website. These summary could be restricted to the tested versions, testing times and as well as to the tested features.
